Ethereum, explained simply
A blockchain that runs programs (smart contracts), with Ether (ETH) as its coin.
Ethereum does what Bitcoin does - moves value - and also runs small programs called smart contracts. Those programs power most stablecoins, decentralised exchanges and NFTs.
Using it costs a fee paid in Ether, called gas.
