Dollar-cost averaging (DCA), explained simply
Buying a fixed amount at regular times, whatever the price.
With DCA you buy, say, $100 of a coin every month instead of investing everything at once. You buy more coins when the price is low and fewer when it is high, and you never have to guess the perfect moment.
It lowers the risk of bad timing, not the risk of the coin itself falling for good.
