Slippage, explained simply
The difference between the price you expected and the price you got.
Slippage happens when the market moves, or when your order is bigger than the orders waiting at the best price. It is worst on small coins and in fast markets.
A limit order caps it: you never pay more (or sell for less) than the price you set.
